25-year fishing guide service on devils lake
A typical spring day of fishing starts at 7:00 a.m. Providing you transportation to and from the lake. With the temps in the low 50s we'll be focusing mainly on shallow water Walleyes casting jigs and plastics up into the shallows and then retrieving them, also using slit barbers along weed edges in depths varying from 4' to 12' concentrated in shallow bay and windswept shorelines.
With this leading up to mid June and warmer temps, we'll then start trolling with bottom bouncers and spinners and occasionally crank baits, also the use of slip barbers and jigs on deeper rock piles.
As we approach July and warmer water temps start more of a trolling pattern with crank baits using lead core or snap weights taking us into August with the warmer water temps.
At the end of each day, we will return to Devils Lake where I will clean and package your fish and prepare for another adventure on Devils Lake.
